Once You Have Registered
Thank you for registering for our 50th Anniversary Virtual Auction Gala! Whether you purchased individual tickets, or are a guest of one of our great sponsors, we appreciate you joining us and look forward to a fun time, and a great way to support our kids.
What you will need for the Gala? The best way to participate in our Gala is to have a cell phone, which you will be doing your mobile bidding on, and another device (tablet, laptop, computer, or perhaps even your TV) to view the program and live auction. Some people have mentioned that they will have it on their iPads or laptop and then link it to their TV for better viewing. Our evening program will be streamed via YouTube, so with some smart TV’s, you can link directly onto YouTube.
Getting Checked-in for Online Bidding. You will receive a link that you can click on. It will take you to our Online Bidding page. Click on “Start Bidding” and you will be able to create your account here to participate in online bidding, or log in with your existing Greater Giving account you may have used for previous auctions. We recommend you do this in advance, so you will feel comfortable in how this works.
When will everything take place? Once you are checked-in for Online Bidding, you will be able to preview our Live and Silent Auction Items. If you see something that interests you, just click on it and you will see the details of that item. Once bidding opens, you will be able to bid form there as well.
Auction Catalog – Auction Catalogs/Program will be emailed out to all registered participants on Friday.
Silent Auction - The Silent Auction will open at 2:00 pm on Saturday and will close at 8:15 pm. If you have checked-in for Online Bidding, you will receive a text letting you know that it is open and that you can start bidding. All you need to do is click on the link in the text and you are set to go.
Program/Live Auction – Our program begins at 6:00 pm. You will receive a link for the YouTube stream. You will be able to log on starting at 5:30 pm. We expect our program and Live Auction to last about an hour.
Wine Pull – Once again, for all you wine-lovers, we will have a Wine Pull this year. We have 50 bottles of great wines that are wrapped so no one knows what is in them. The value of these packages range in value from $30-$150 or more. This item will be at the end of the Silent Auction items online. You will be able to click and buy as many as you would like at $30 each.
Picking Up Your Items – All purchases may be picked up Curbside at our Simi Valley Clubhouse located at 2850 Lemon Drive in Simi Valley from 12:00 noon – 3:00 pm on Sunday.
